Want a quick and easy way to restore your nutrition and hydration, increase your energy, and fight your fatigue while optimizing your healing?

IV infusion therapy might just be the ticket for you.

Here at PRO Institute, we offer IV therapy as a game-changing method to quickly get nutrients and fluids into your system. Here’s how it works and what you can expect when you come for the first time.

What is IV therapy?

IV, or intravenous, therapy has been used to administer medications for many years, but is now moving into the wellness arena to enable customized doses of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to be delivered directly into your bloodstream through a needle inserted into your vein.

Because the fluid solution is bypassing your digestive system, your bloodstream can deliver the nutrients throughout your body, where they can be absorbed much more quickly than if you took vitamin pills, for example.

Your specific treatment will depend on your physical needs and goals. IV therapy can provide faster recovery after workouts, illnesses, and hangovers, improved hydration, an energy boost, reduced headaches, improved skin health, and much more.

What should I expect?

Before your first treatment, Dr. Gayan Poovendran or a member of our team will sit down with you to discuss any symptoms you’re experiencing and your goals for treatment. We’ll conduct a physical exam and order any necessary lab tests before beginning the IV.

(Depending on any specific needs we uncover during this discussion, we also offer other services that may be helpful to you, including platelet-rich plasma injectionsstem cell therapy, ozone therapy, peptide and hormone optimization, and more.)

The actual procedure itself is pretty simple. While you relax in a comfortable chair, a team member will insert a needle into your vein to begin your customized infusion of fluids and nutrients. Most treatments take 30-60 minutes depending on the type of infusion. During this time, you can nap, read, watch a show, etc., as long as you stay in your chair and keep your arm still.

When you’re finished, we’ll extract the needle, and you’re free to go about your normal daily activities with no downtime. In fact, most patients report an immediate boost in their energy and mood, with additional healing benefits coming over time.
